Billing Excuse

    I just ordered a $200 piece from grasscity.com but my parents could potentially monitor my banking statement and I need an excuse. I believe the billing company is something like SJV Amsterdam or something like that. I live in the United States so I dont really have a reason to buy something normal from Amsterdam. Could anyone suggest a somewhat expensive normal product produced in Amsterdam that I could be purchasing or anything that I could tell my parents if they questioned me about the billing statement?

    If you were over the age of 18, which sounds doubtful in your case, you could tell them you ordered some amsterdam porn. You could also say you got a sex doll or something. That would make your folks uncomfortable. But it certainly ain't illegal ;)

    Tell them it was a 1st edition of "being sneaky for dummies" you got on ebay.

    If they ask why you bought that, tell them because you haven't read it yet. If you did, they wouldnt be asking you that.

    I'd go with furniture of some kind. Seems right for the price range. Like a vintage Record player for the new vinyl collection you've started.

    Shoulda got your story down before u ordered it brah. your parents arnt cool with it and the gc store can be kinda sketchy sometimes with orders.

    Do u play baseball? Play tennis? Cricket?? Tell em its a golfclub or something along those lines

    So not the most productive feedback but I got a few laughs out of it. Yeah when it comes down to it if they bring it up I'm fucked but theyre not like nosy or overcontrolling so it shouldnt really be a problem, just gonna be kinda awkward if they question it

    find something with the letters "sjv" that you can relate to if you must, and that its made in amsterdam....thats all i can thinks of for right now, next time dont smoke and shop online lol.

    Say it's a replacement part for your computer. Most parents don't know/care much about computers to question it tbh, and you have the added benefit of not having to show them whatever you ordered.
