Galaxies with "old" stellar populations, like modern-day ellipticals, are circled in yellow; galaxies with "young" stellar populations, like modern-day spirals, are circled in blue. Images taken with the Infrared Array Camera on the Spitzer Space Telescope and the Mosaic-II camera on the Blanco 4-meter telescope at the Cerro Tololo Inter-American This optical image of the newfound galaxy cluster highlights how faint and reddened these galaxies are due to their great distance. The cluster remained hidden until the South Pole Telescope spotted it by looking for distortions in the cosmic microwave background. (Such distortions are called the Sunyaev-Zel'dovich effect.) The blue streak is a satellite passing through the field of view during the timed exposure. The field of view is 4 x 4 arcminutes.

what's wrong with believing in God??? if ur wrong about no god then ur wrong for eternity, if im wrong with saying there is a God then im wrong for a lifetime. so it really doesnt hurt to belive in God now does it?
Those pictures look like a bad closeup of a christmas tree with no lighting.......Ive figured it out ! The entire universe that we can see with telescopes is just a tree Were fuckin stuck inside a tree and basically one pine needle is our galaxy. Our planet is an atom inside that pine needle. Now to figure out whats beyond the universe and whats off of the christmass tree.....We just cant see that far with our weak and beady little eyes......
Man think off all the life that is swarming around out there! There is no way with 800 TRILLION suns that we are the only life. Think if there is an earth like planet and we could visit it and we could see how different we could be if we developed a slightly different way. I bet the life forms there would be somewhat similar to ours, at least we could recognize them for being alive. If only we could explore the outer limits of space......
