I just a 6in filter for 200cfm 4in fan. Will that improve it over a 4in filter. Hopefully it last longer i swear i only get a gd 5 months out of them before the skunks back lol.
I have a 200 cfm fan as well and use the 4"x12" carbon filter, great reviews...growing skunk now with no smell at all. Phresh Filters Odor Elimination
Yea this will be my 4th carbon filter in 2 years. 4x12 and two 4x20 now i got a 6in 500cfm filter im waiting for with a 6 to 4in adapter piece. Apts suck lol soon we will find a house.
Well the 6" filter is alot better with my 200 cfm 4" fan. The filter was 500 cfm. Now itl help cool it alil more there is alot more air flowi.ng threw my ducting. Which is filter ducting cooltube ducting to fan pulling air threw it. And out the top of my closet
You would think you would of gotten the opposite in terms of air flow. Ive always been under the impression that a 200cfm fan would have a hard time pulling through a larger filter. Especially 1 that was rated 300cfm over the fan?
Nope bigger more holes more carbon hopefully it last longer then 6 months its a knock off filter from ebay. Man i would have been bummed out if my fan wouldnt have pulled threw it lol. It never crossed my mind.
