I have been growing top44 its not far from harvest but the buds are not very big my friend says he has seen much bigger buds that his other mate grows. I only like to use natrual stuff that is safe to grow food in that is why i use soil which is safe for going herbs and i only like to feed on natrual stuff like rabbit poo tea. But if i wanted to grow big buds how would i grow bigger buds. I grow just 1 plant at a time under a 125w evirolite i do this in a enclosure which is covered in reflective surface. It is kept quite warm in the grow room. What would i need to grow bigger buds indoors?. I have been thinking of giving super skunk a try under the same light but feeding it some seedweed ferts which are organic and said too be good for the plants and help them build resistance too pests and other problems.
Bigger buds need bigger lights, your 125 is what is holdingyou back. You can do only so much with nutes. The plant only use 20% or so of nute, the rest comes for CO2 and light. Thier is no way around this. When i switched from my 400 Switchable to my 1000s i got another 2 to 4 oz per plant.
Agreed. Nutes do not matter as much as you want them to. Provide enough of everything they need and that's all you can do. In my earlier years, I tried chasing the perfect nutrient program only to find that I wasn't making much difference. I now use a single all-in-one product and concentrate on more challenging aspects of growing. If you like organic, try Pure Blend Pro Soil. Used it, loved it. May need a little supplemental magnesium.
Agreed about the lights. More light, more growth. I've HEARD, not seen, that using molasses in your flowering stage can really fluff your buds up. I think its like 1 tsp. to gallon of water. Like I said though, I only heard of this.
