    A little late starting the journal as my grow is about a month underway but I've got a few pics to share.

    No Till Soil Recipe ~125 gallons with this mix ratio

    5 CF or 37 Gallons of CSPM (1 Sunshine Bale fluffed and hydrated)
    3.75 CF Malibu Compost
    1CF Perlite + 3CF Lava Rock = 4CF Total
    2CF BioChar
    5 Gallons Rice Hulls
    10 Cups Kelp Meal
    10 Cups Crab Meal
    8 Cups Oyster Shell Powder
    7 Cups Neem Meal
    6 Cups Alfafa Meal
    6 Cups Gypsum Powder
    ~2 Gallons Cascade Minerals - Basalt
    ~3 Gallons of Glacial Rock Dust
    Vermicompost with worms (as much as you have available)

    Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss (Base).jpeg

    It's clear that this recipe could use a little more tweaking. Need some additional Nitrogen and also adding a Phosphorous source might be needed for a true water only application. I've been supplementing with Fish hydrolysate, FIshbone Meal, and Seabird Guano. Also lots of foliar feeding with N and Kelp Extract along the way.

  5. Leaf Shine from the IPM Spray last night. Powdery Mildew was always such a battle but now that I'm using neem oil it's a thing of the past :)

    Looks like my measurements for the soil build this year are off a bit since I was just recreating from previous notes instead of using the tool I wrote :(

    Soil Builder Code (Python) Amendments have been adjusted to my personal preferences and can be changed as you see fit.

    Code:
    #! /usr/bin/python

    # Rice Hulls come out of CSPM portion of the base mix
    HULLS = .05

    # Rockdust: (4-10 Cups per CF - MOFO 2018)

  18. Right on man. Love outdoor plants!

    Those are gonna be some big girls! Get ready to hit em with all the lil tricks you've learned. I like to use fish hydrolysate when I need something heavy duty to feed em with. I'll keep watching this grow for sure. Looking good!
