Alright...i Am Planning To Use A House For My Whole Grow Setup.. I Currently Have 15 1000watts Hps Lights...yea You Heard Me 15!! The Method Im Using Will Be Scrog Or Sog (sea Of Green).. Heres The Deal...i Need A Method I Can Use.. Should I Veg Plants For 1 Week Then Move To Flower Or Just Put Them In Flower After I Clone Them ...and What Should I Use Hydro Or Soil...im Thinkin Hydro Is Too Much Work With All The Pumps And Shit... dont worry bout the electricty i got it covered Gimme Some Ideas And Advice ...ty Ps...and Under The Lights Maybe Around 250-300 Plants..
1. Don't tell anyone If youre going to to SOG a nice hydro setup would definitely be worth it, as they will grow faster and produce more bud if you do it correctly. Although, soil can do SOG just fine, but I'd let them veg for maybe about a month, and then put them in to 12/12 lighting to begin flowering. If you're using clones, you probably only need to let them veg for probably about 2-3 weeks then put them in to flower.
I just wanted to say, HOLY SHIT I'M JEALOUS!!! Also, thought I heard somewhere that people have lost whole crops from pump failures with hydro. There are probably ways to prevent it but I would NOT want to lose 250 plants because of a pump... with soil you at least you know as long as you do your part they will too.
i hope for your sake that you do have the power end figured out. that's alot of juice. you'll have the elec meter spinning at about 10,000 rpm!!
personally i dont think running 15,000 watts constantly is a good idea. the cops may red flag you and you may get busted.
yea, plus i heard of infra red helacopters can detect huge amounts of heat/ power if they have it on and fly over your house.... btw is your grow place in the city?
