My 4 biggest plants big fan leaves have been turning yellow for the past few weeks. They are about 3 weeks into flower. I know it's common for this to happen during flowering but thought it happened later in the flower cycle. The soil these ones are in is pure black soil that has had 100s of years of decomposing leaves, sticks etc to build up the plenty of nutrient rich soil. Watering is done regularly when not raining.
This is normal, I’m dealing with the same thing with mine. Plant is just using up nutrients in the older leaves, aswell as the bottom leaves aren’t getting enough light To be useful so the plants use them up. Also I find if your plants ever dry out, a day or 2 later these leaves will die off. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
This is totally normal during the ending stages of flowering....when it's getting close to harvest.....but your plants still look a bit young to be having this happen.....might wanna give it a shot of N.......just my .02
Thanks a lot everyone for responding. I started giving them a 3 part advanced nutrients formula about 5 days ago every other water. So hopefully that helps give them a boost!
newbie here. This is whats happening to mine. The fatter the colas the more yellow the leaves! Never had this happen to my other plant. This is my second time growing
Could be your soil is too alkaline. Can You Add Too Much Lime to the Soil for a Garden? just throwing it out there. Could have something to do with it flowering also but I have only grown one auto so
Before you mess with soil chemistry you should test the soil. You need to identify the problem before you try to fix it. The plant looks fine. Those are some of the oldest leaves on the plant and they are losing access to light.
