And changing up with this seems to stopped most of the PW issues..

To bad your Blue Dreams did so poorly.. They are a staple cropper for me a strain I'll always run when available but I'm in So Calif and don't have any issues with it at all..

You might want to check out seedbacks grow as he is also PNW and runs strains he's learned the hard way work best for that area as well as some selective strain breeding of his own if I remember correctly.. worth looking over anyhow..

  4. weather has been shitty, 6 days of rain in the forecast. just pulled my best Critical 47 today. it was really close and it really finished out beautiful. Even under cover the MKAGE wanted to mold on my so i have chopped all the main colas and i expect to get at least 2 OZ's of of her.
Im going to let the last C47 and White siberian go another week before they come down. they are covered so should be ok there.

I need to get a magnifying glass and see whats going on with my Chocolope, its really sugaring up and the pistil are already turning red, its like its trying to finish but there is no way. might be the cool weather?

  5. 001.jpg

took this in the middle of my critical 47 trim. both rows are full now and Ill be adding two more. 001.jpg 002.jpg

  6. Those hanging buds are lookin mighty tasty Big Bob.  Let us know about that chocolope, I hear it a great sativa, tried to grow it one year but had to abort when nosey neighbors found it

  7. its weird pork, I had two critical 47 plants, on that developed stem rot and one that didnt. the one the did, finished a couple days ago, was covered in sugar and other other one looks like it will need another 2 weeks plus. Smoked the first of my spoils last night. Some early White Siberian. Very impressed, super smooth and it hasn't even been cured. a very buzzy heady high.

The chocolope is going to have to survive 35 knot winds and 3+ inches of rain over 3 days. What do you use to check your trichomes? jewelers loupe?

  8. I have smoked Chocolope for a local dispensary and its really nice.

Radio shack has a nice handheld microscope.  20 bucks...works great.  http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=21541156

But these days I don't use i it much, I chop when the buds look ripe enough and the weather accommodates with a dry week ahead for a good mold-free dry.

  10. IT"S HARVEY TIME!!!!! after an initial panic over mold I stopped my chicken little routine and realized it was not much of a factor. i have pulled my Critical 47 ,white Siberian and MKAGE in the last couple days. I will pull the scraggly lookin blue dream tonight and just have My Chocolope, Jillybean and Mangolian Indica left. The Chocolope has turned out to be a complete rock star. Near impervious to mold and PM, it looks like it will finish in a week or so. So far so good on the Mangolian indica too, it has really taken off as well. These guys have survived a 3 day storm with 6 inches or rain and 40 MPH winds. all they did was grow. The Jilly bean really doesn't like to get wet and will be lucky to pull an OZ off of it. Oh well, 6 out of nine is not bad.

Tons of pics coming, lots o bud porn.

  11.
Yeah that storm was something else seemed like a nightmare but It's nice to see more dryer days than rain in the forecast

Sorry for the delay, been busy with life. My harvest really came out well. interestingly enough my late sativa dominant stuff ( Chocolope and Mangolian indica) both went till mid October and were nearly impervious to mold. Just a few OZ's left to cut up, everything else is curing, some of it is already cured. Both White siberian and Ciritcal 47 turned out tasty and stoney as hell. Here are some pics. Cant wait until the Chocolope and Mangolian are cured. Mangolian smells like a cross between turpentine and Mango's.

nice grow man! what was your best yielder? im guessing the chocolope?

  15. Yes Chocolope, gave up a half pound and I had to pull it early. It stood up to almost 2 straight weeks of rain and fog. If I would have had a sept and oct like last year I would have really raked in.

  16. Ok just ordered up some seeds from Herbies for this years grow. I'm going to do 2 or 3 clones and the rest will be from seed this year. Here is the list. if anyone has and experience with any of these i would love to hear it.

  17. Well?  are you lords and ladies ready for another season? it might be the last one for the medicinal crowd here in Washington if the state gets their way. too many guys like me that will only give it away that that threatens their tax revenue.

  18. Clones I am looking to add are  Cinex, Girl Scout cookies platinum and either headband or green crack

  19. Chunk posted in the organic lounge the disaster you are all facing in Wa if your elected officials keep on the way they seem to be headed..
Calif has it's own mess with our state supreme court deciding to allow cities and counties to make up any stinking rules they want about where, what and when I can grow..
So far my county hasn't enacted anything nor my city on backyard grows.. The damn city did close every single dispensary we had for the 2rd time.. What a cocked up mess that all turned out to be.. It's the reason I went back to growing in the 1st place.. All my stores got closed and I wasn't about to drive 40 miles across the heart of Los Angeles to buy some questionable weed..
Good Luck with the upcoming season.. BNW
