  1. interesting read...i really like the last one..although it's the hardest to show evidence for...it reminds me of something a friend and I thought up on a mushroom trip. we had a polaroid camera with us taking pictures and we were talking how you can't actually define a moment except for taking a picture..and that existence is made up of moments (equivalent to the "nows" in this article)....so time didn't exist but there is just a bunch of moments in the exact present....once the present is there, there is no past or future...an infinite amount of presents..but becasue of the mind's memory we create a past for ourselves to keep our consciousness flowing

so a photo to us was exactly one stable arrangment of the universe

  2. Great article, and it just go to confirm, that whatever we do know about the universe, it isn't nearly enough :)

    Much work to be done.

edit: And I'm a big supporter of M-Theory, but until evidence start trickling in, I won't claim it as fact though :)

  3. well we might be one step closer come the end of this year which is exciting

  4. Good article. I've thought of the first and last as possibilities before.

  5. Just had a weird thought connecting Deja Vu and the theory of “Nows” (inspired by the Deja Vu thread) ….Deja Vu could be the event in which you fail to pass to another “now” and you're actually in the same “now” for two or more “nows” in a row…giving you the faint impression that you've been there before yet you don't know when… (because it was just ‘now'... but you don't perceive it this way)

does that make sense to anyone?

  6. That definitely gives me something to think about at work tonight. Thanks:hello:
