Big Bag Of Buds Poorly Stored

    Greetings
    Entering a building for repair found an associate left 8 oz +\- of 12" kolas stacked together in a paper shopping bag for a year....brown mold starting- maybe 2%.
    Any suggestions to save this stash?

    Actually in the last 2 hours have found that consuming mold/spores in any form is questionable at least and deadly at worst. There is a surfeit of information available on this topic- I just randomly picked this forum to start search. Be careful.

    The decarboxylation stage alone will kill all mold spore. 140 to 160 F is enough to kill spore and we decarb at 240 F for 40 minutes plus an additional 40 minutes of oil processing @ 220 F for a total of 80 minutes at temps of 200 F or higher.

    Microwave it for 30 seconds , kills the fungi and insect egg larva.
