BHO questions

    So I have this strain of NY Diesel that has been curing for months now but doesn't snap when I break it down like my kush strain. When I make this strain into bho it tastes better and smells great. Could this be due to higher oil and resin levels in my plant? And if this plant had more oils does this make it a hash strain?

    just because one grows doesn't mean one smokes.

    I've read that some people think a fresher product like that ensures more over-all terpene retention in the end product, so that could be it.
