Alright, so I got a new xbox and a new hardrive and all that, and I can't get my old account to switch over, and I used my online pass for battlefield 3 for the old xbox. So my question is, is there anyway to get my game to work online without having to buy a new code
If you use an Xbox Transfer Cable, then the online pass should have been moved to your hard drive and it should work. If you don't have one, they're only like 16 bucks used. But if that doesn't work, I've had a friend call EA Support saying he used the code on a friend's xbox and that he thought it would apply to his live account, not just the xbox. And they gave him a new code free of charge.
all you have to do is log in on the other xbox. the DRM is saved to your account not your xbox. use the "recover gamertag" feature and your profile will be on your xbox instantly
