Best way to utilize 15 plants?

  1. Im wondering if instead of doing shorter cycles and having smaller plants, if you had 12 plants you vegged for 8+ months, how much would you get as opposed to growing smaller plants a couple times in that period. I was thinking if you grew 12 plants for each month of the year, and each month put another into flower, you could be harvesting a huge plant each month.

Then for the other 3 plants, during the initial veg of the 12 plants you could flower 3 smaller ones non stop to keep you going while you wait.

I dunno I just imagine the developed root systems of bigger plants probably take in a ton of nutrients compared to little clones that get put into flower right away and Im trying to think of the best way to grow according to local law which allows 15 plants with medical recommendation. Could you veg it for like a year and get a lb per plant?
