I put mine in diff film cases and put them in the fridge. Keeps 'em dark and cool, and that's what you look for for storage -hardroc
They say that seeds loose thier viablilty around 5 years, but I've heard of ppl popping seed 10+ years old. I can't give you a deffinate answer........ How long do you plan on keeping them for?
I vacuum seal and store in light proof container in the fridge. I just germed some jamaican seeds that I had stored for the past 3 years and 90% of them have popped. The ones that didnt dont even look viable so its all good.
I agree. I like to add a few kernels of rice in there to help absorb any moisture as well, especially because I put them in the fridge. I had seeds that were 3.5 years old kept this way and had 100% germination...
I've also heard about the rice thing. That is a good idea, I'm gonna go throw some in my containers, see if they swell up any.
