  1. I got a ton of beans....

Looking for the best way to keep them long term...

I just put some beans(properly labeled) into a film container... put that inside of a mason jar filled with rice in my refrigerator....

    good idea?

    heard of a better one?

I do not know the best way, but let me tell you a story.
Friend of mine bought 2 grams of some crappy grass with bunch of seeds 2-3 years ago and totally forgot about it. It was sitting in the box with bunch of junk for those couple of years.I took couple of seeds and have decided to germinate them and guess what, they did sprout out!

  3. The method I use is, get some small 125ml mason jars pack it with bubble wrap on the bottom with the bubbles facing down, then pour the seeds in, put dry milk flakes over them, top with some more bubble wrap. then seal, label and put the jar into the refrigerator for long term storage only...

  4. I usally just keep mine in a small glass jar with an airtight lid , when I go to use them i germinate them and plant them , seems to work good . PS I need cloning help , I just posted a thread with the info and pics , please take a look guys ??

  5. In a plastic baggie stuffed into a small jar with a seal in the cap, put into a mason jar, wrapped with a black plastic bag, in a cool, dark, place

  6. Good ones.... Guess I'm not too far off

  7. Tihspeed, if anything your idea is overkill. Film canister with uncooked rice directly in the canister with the beans, put that in the fridge or back of a closet and you're fine.

  8. Thanks toasty.....I'm ok with overkill, unless you think this will be bad for the beans...

I'll switch it up if you say so

  9. No, adding the mason jar is fine...

  10. Thanks toasty
