    Hi grow fam

I have a question about how I can keep these genetics around... Here's the story...

I have a bunch of clones that I grew for the purpose of keeping the genetics long term. I've already flowered out their mothers and I know which ones I want to keep. I want to keep maybe three or four different phenos out of the ones seen in photos.
The ones I choose were going to be kept at a friend's house as I'm moving soon. They would be kept small and outside and I could eventually use them as mothers.
The problem I have is that recently I played around with the light cycle, and even though they weren't getting 12 hours or less the buggers began flowering!
Now I'm not sure how I'm going to keep the genetics around.
At the moment where I'm located we are getting more than 12 hours of light in a day so I'm wondering if I stick them outside of they will revert back to vegetation?

Alternatively I could take cuttings and revert them back to vegetation?

Do y'all have any tips or ideas around this?

    Cheers legends

  2. You can take cutting during flower or reveg what you have by increasing the light schedule.

  3. if you are outside now the light schedule wont allow it you need 14 hours direct light to stay in veg it may be too late you can try supplemental lighting and attempt to reveg them but under natural light only right now it wont work anywhere north or south hemisphere

  4. Hey mate sorry for the delay. Yeah they are inside at the moment. That's good to know about the 14 hours because outside right now we get 13, so I better not stick them outside.
I might leave them inside and increase the light cycle back to 14.5 hours so they reveg.
Pretty annoying that I have to reveg again but it's worth it to keep the genetics.
    Thanks heaps man

  5. better to give them 20 hours of light a day to reveg and it will take a month

  6. Okay cool I upped lights to 18 hours since I'm in no rush and simply need to keep them alive for now.
I also reduced the light intensity just slightly from 100% to 75%. Just because I'm not in a rush, and now they are getting longer hours it might be too much for DLI?
    Cheers for the help

  7. thats exactly what i would have done i have 1 revegging now it took about a month and now she is a mother again enough to take 20 cuts if i want to

  9. Nice man that's what I'm hoping to do too.
I just did a grow and for once kept track of each individual plant. I've just finished the dry and finally starting to smoke em all.
So gotta do some homework there haha. Then choose my keepers.

  10. Oh not sure if you figured out but I took cuts of each plant months ago. Those cuts are what you see in photo. Bugger they flowered on me.
