What is the best way to dry a few oz's of bud? I can not do the sit out method, as I want to do it as quickly as possible. Any the less of the smell the better.
Do you not want smell as in the bud smelling up a room? Or like the bud having no smell? Either way, the best way IMO, is hanging them in a dark cool space and letting them dry for a while, but that isn't possible for everyone. Could do a water cure. but that will make the bud not smell and not much of a taste. Also lose some weight. But it is a quicker way. (Search for a more detailed explanation) And there's all kinda of other ways form using the microwave I've heard to food dehydrators... Also another way is to get like the big brown paper bags from like a grocery store, shred a couple of them and layer one of the bags with buds then shredded paper and so on. Maybe some holes in the side of bag and a fan just fanning the area it's in. Not directly on it. Just every now and then stir them up in the bag. (Pretty sure how this one works) Hopefully I helped. Good luck.
I got an herb dryer with a CAN Carbon filter and aluminum screens from ebay for 260 and it works great, only downfall is the price went down a couple days after purchase. No smell whatsoever and does not dry so fast that it is harsh. I totally would have built one, but now with my limited mobility I can not be as DIY as I used to be.
