Recently broke my first table top vaporizer. It's was a Vapor Tower. What makes this loss even worse is that it was a gift. Now that I've seen the vapor side of herb, I want more. Any suggestions? Sent from my SM-G950U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I have vaporizers at all spectrums from $50.00 to $300.00+ (but that I bought used). The two vaporizers I recommend highest are the two most inexpensive. Dynavap M 2018 I got this during a promotion from dynavap for a free titanium tip. It’s $60.00. It rivals my Firefly 2 in taste for the first half of the chamber. Truelieve Herb Cup Vaporizer Trulieve Herb Cup Vaporizer | Trulieve $50.00 at truelieve dispensary I’d have to imagine these are accessible outside of the Florida dispensary, but I don’t know the generic name of this model. It’s not big on big vapor clouds, but it’s pretty darn tasty and doesn’t get too hot like other less expensive vaporizers. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
A hundred dollar price point is a tough one when you are talking new and well known vapes. However used is a much cheaper way to go but it also carries its own issues to deal with.
I have never tried this, but this looks great for ten dollars above your budget. Boundless CF Vaporizer Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I am ordering myself an Arizer solo 2. After doing research I decided to spend more. Found a sale for 200.00. Temp control is important to me and with the arizer, I will have the control I want.
You can get a Pax 2 used/like new/mint for around $100 IF you do your proper research to avoid knock-offs and buy from a US trusted seller.
Very true. As mentioned above I got my Firefly 2 for $125.00, and my Crafty for $120.00. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I never tried that one but vaporizers seem to be quite personal to each person. If you’re looking at a pax then should I assume stealth is what’s most important to you? If you want flavor that’s one thing, battery life, draw resistance, portability/stealth, on demand vaping, efficiency, etc, then each thing should point you in the direction you should go. I didn’t know what was important to me so since January I have purchased 7 vaporizers trying to figure things out. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
They are two very very very different vaporizers. They are very different. They are both excellent. Since I got the external battery charger on my Firefly it’s been my go to over everything. Since getting the Crafty (it’s only been a couple days) I’ve been using it maybe four times a day, but that’s because it’s new. In the end it’s excellent, but the battery is terrible (two very well packed bowls with a little left over) and it seems to be on the charger a lot (it takes hours to charge), but mostly it’s just super potent. I’ve been getting some excellent weed, and the Crafty has been the destroyer of worlds with it. Seriously, it completely destroys me. If asking for a recommendation, after a learning curve, with the added external battery charger, I would recommend the Firefly 2 even at a new price. It’s not for everyone. It’s for someone who regularly gets top shelf weed because the taste is magnificent and you don’t have to go through an entire load every time you use it. The draw resistance is terrible and for that I’m looking at a Ghost MV1 (there is a used one for sale around here). That one seems to be an destroyer like the Crafty though. Having to mix the bowl in the Firefly sucks, but the efficiency really is top notch. I really like the Crafty (even with mine having the 2014 flaws). Like I said, it will destroy worlds! It’s a pleasure to use. The vapor is a bit rougher than with the Firefly, but the pull is massive. I guess that’s why the Crafty and Mighty have waterpipe adapters and the Firefly doesn’t. I like it, I really like it, but I would NEVER recommend it. When you’re spending $200.00+ on a vaporizer it better have a removable battery as far as I’m concerned. It’s not a question of it will break down, it’s just a question of how quick it will break down once the warranty expires. I got mine with 9 hours on it so I should have decent battery life left. When it dies I’ll try popping it open and swapping the battery myself. If they do eventually come out with a Mighty or Crafty with a removable battery then I am buying it up. It’s not a vaporizer for the light of heart so you should have another vaporizer for the rest of the day. When it’s time to just chill after a hard day, the Crafty/Mighty is insane. With the Jack Herer strain, well I just laughed harder than I have ever laughed before. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I have a general rule not to buy vaporizers off of ebay/amazon sites. Especially name labeled grinders. Believe it or not there are ALOT of knockoffs and chinese made products that work like crap. A few threads down someone bought a pax3 and it works like garbage. Many times trying to save money will only lead to inferior priducta and more money spent that is needed.
What I care most about is flavor. I've heard about the firefly. Sent from my SM-G950U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
For flavor definitely the Firefly over the Crafty. Not even close, however I think with the glass straw upgrade it might be better. The Crafty does taste good, just not Firefly good. The dynavap vaporizers have amazing taste as well, but I give the edge to the Firefly because it has more tasty hits than the dynavap. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I'm kind of skeptical. I'm not really sold on it. Seller is a US seller, great feedback score and in the ad he verifies its authentic, but these could be fake ones that have been dumped on his lap for "charity." The whole charity thing makes this look bad. However, what I love and hate about eBay is Buyer Protection. As a Seller it can be a headache. As a buyer, its awesome. Whether someone declines return or not, eBay will step in and get you your money back. So you do have protection if you get it and its not what you expect. No if's, and's or buts unless the person abandons his account. In this case, this seller has almost 2000 reviews. The only negative drawback I see is the pics arent real and supposedly they re-shrink wrapped the items. Also, for $125...I rather just spend $150 on a brand new one from an official site that will include warranty. The reason you go used route is for bigger savings than that. This is a Pax 3 that I just saw that is about the end for about $137 but these are the type of ads that I look for: PAX 3 GLOSSY SILVER VAPE KIT 100% Authentic. Used few times. | eBay Authentic clear pics, authentic in listing and is sold by an actual person, not a company mass selling or reselling these things. Just something that someone brought themselves and used a few times. YouTube has some good comparison videos to compare fake ones versus real but you need to see real pics of box and item which is why I like the above ad. The seller has just enough feedback to be comfortable with.
Thanks bro, you have some serious points there. Sent from my SM-G950U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Ok I went straight to the manufacturers web site. I feel a little guilty over the price but I got the latest version. I got the firefly 2. Sent from my SM-G950U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I think you’ll like it. The draw resistance is terrible and the stirring is a drag, but the beautiful hits make it worth it. When you register it with your phone app you’ll get a coupon code for $20.00 off of a $50.00 order. Buy the external battery charger and the quick charger. Well you may not need the quick charge plug, but definitely use a two amp plug. I burned out an iPhone charger already because I left it charging too long. If you like concentrates at all, the FF2 rocks! I hope you enjoy Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
