What is the trippiest movie you have ever seen? If you choose other please leave a reply with the name of the film.
Can't believe you didn't include A Clockwork Orange, but in any event...my choice is The Cell with Jennifer Lopez, Vince Vaughn, and Vincent D'Onofrio Allow me to submit two very trippy scenes [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zCICwYt9cU]YouTube - 'The Cell' excerpt - mother whispers[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbrqV2httgI]YouTube - Horse gets split into pieces[/ame]
Well I would have but they only allow you to enter 20 different answers I have a list of about 40 movies so this was sort of hard to decide which ones to list. I didn't think that A Clockwork Orange really had enough of a trippy experience throughout the entire film. A few others that I wanted to add but couldn't were Sin City, American Pop, Being John Malkovich, Blueberry, El Topo, Rocky Horror Picture Show and Candy. Also I would like to thank you for The Cell I had heard of that movie a long time ago when it first came out but I never knew what it was about.

Anyone ever seen Altered States? It's pretty old but pretty fucking trippy. I have started but haven't finished Altered States or Eraserhead but I definitely need to. I was considering putting Altered States on the poll too but I'm not sure it's very popular.
how about The Yellow Submarine? that's a pretty trippy animation [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8B_UdaVVw4]YouTube - "Yellow Submarine" - Part 4/17 - Getting Help[/ame]
Wayyyyy too hard to pick. But watching alice in Wonderland on shrooms fucked with my head pretty badly.
Pretty good list, but I could add probably 25 more. The ONLY one on your list that I disagree with is "The Doors", which I find to be tedious. Additions I could make: City of Lost Children Heavy Metal 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T Naked Lunch Institute Benjamenta A Boy and His Dog The Atomic Cafe Urgh! A Music War Dr. Strangelove The Trip Head Beyond the Valley of the Dolls Ed Wood Nightmare Before Christmas Beetlejuice The Visitors (Les Visiteurs) The Fifth Element South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut Beavis & Butthead Do America Fantastic Planet Light Years (aka Gandahar) Alice In Wonderland (The 70's Musical Porno) Fantasia Akira My Neighbor Totoro Howl's Moving Castle Cowboy Bebop Knocking on Heaven's Door Lost Highway Blue Velvet Wild at Heart Dune Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me Rolling Stones Rock & Roll Circus I'm sure I can come up with more. BTW _ I voted for "The Beatles Yellow Submarine" because after seeing the film dozens of times as a child, I had to watch it the first time I dropped Acid, and it was so much better.
I voted Natural Born Killers and still stand by my decision, but I just remembered THE trippiest movie I have ever seen which isn't on the list... Mulholland Dr. by David Lynch.
The Yellow Submarine...that's a pretty trippy animation [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8B_UdaVVw4]YouTube - "Yellow Submarine" - Part 4/17 - Getting Help[/ame]
wheres fantasia on that poll??? but seriously when im tripping i like to watch funny ass movies...2 trips ago on acid i watched tropic thunder and me myself and irene (the first time ive seen either movie..well ive seen tropic thunder but i was fucked up and didnt remember any of it)
i put waking life cuz thats the best one on the list but the most trippiest shit ever is Hallucinations of a Deranged Mind. its crazy its like about these dudes who took acid, and theyre trips and shit, idk look it up, and watch it that shits crazy
Alright I just saw the trailer for Waking Life and first off it's shot just like A Scanner Darkly with cell shadding, second it has Iggy Pop and the Stooges playing in the background. Definitely looks like a must see film. One more trippy ass movie... Pi also by David Lynch.
