Best time to water?

    Should I be watering right before the lights go off, or right before they come on? I've been watering with 50ml (2ounces) of water daily, plants are about 3 days old under a 400watt MH average temp is 70 with lights off and 80-85 eith light on. Using foxfarm ocean organic soil.

    Good Question,

    IMO.

    As the plant looses more water while the light is on and it's warm making sugar. So imo the best time to water is just before the light comes on.

    Also if you were to water after lights out the roots will be starved of oxygen which they need as the plants not using so much water.

    If I could use drippers I would. just a bit out of my price range.

    Anyone else have ideas on this.

    I water just before the lites go on, helps keep the humidity constant
