I am a little confused about when to plant out doors in SW Oregon. This would be my second outdoor grow. First one was planted around mid end July and harvested in Dec. It was a short grow and yielded about 7 ozs from 3 plants. This time I really want them to grow big and plentiful. I have found the last frost date to be around May 13. I started germinating my seeds yesterday. 5 have been put into small peat pots and I will grow them on the window sill in my room until it is ready. However I am confused about when to transplant into the ground(of course I will be changing pot sizes) Some sites say the frost ends May 13, some say beginning April, all the way back to end of Feb. Anyone experience with SW Oregon outdoor growing that knows when the best time to start transplanting outdoors? Thanks!
Only problem i see here is leaving them on the window sill when the outdoor hours are no more then 12.
I don't have a room setup for growing. I would take them outside and plant them now. Afternoons here after been gorgeous, but the overnight/early morning temps are hitting 25F.
