california. beaches, mountains, deserts, medical marijuana. even though our schools are going to shit, at least theres lots of weed and fun things to do
i can understand that. i mean, you need money to do fun shit and buy weed, especially in cali. everything here is fucking expensive! you could always be like half the college students here and become a pot dealer.
In CO, you can get very good shit for $10 a gram/$35 an eighth through certain dispensaries. Just have to know someone with a card. And as a student, you're naturally going to want to live among a healthy, happy, open-minded, and youthful population, and where cops are busy with real problems. That pretty much confines you to big cities, preferably ones along the west coast and mountain west. As far as cities go, Denver is one of the safest (and from what I've seen, has better inter-race relations, lack of diversity notwithstanding), and you're right on the doorstep of awesome places like Fort Collins, Boulder, and CO Springs if and when you decide to uproot (all also very stoner-friendly places, but lacking the job density of Denver). Stay far the hell away from places like Pennsylvania and Florida; they're run by blue-haired old women with no compassion or consideration for anyone.
LA/Santa Monica College has really interested me, I'm just worried about expenses and having to move back, because I do not want to do that. Florida has interested me but the laws on marijuana are terrible!
if you're thinking about going to school in LA, do yourself a favor and come visit the city and campus first. also, if you plan on working to support yourself and pay for school out here, good luck. i hope you'll qualify for student loans.
I just visited in March and had a great time. And yeah student loans will have to be my way of life haha.
Michigan... lots of party schools, and the bud scene is getting pretty good only bad side....try finding a job once you graduate from college oh, and the winters suck. oh, and most of the sports teams suck, too. maybe Michigan isn't the best. But it'll have to do for now
