Best piece of glass for 300 or less

If you extend your budget just slightly, you can get an SG Stemline ... Or if you are looking for a bubbler a Luke Wilson 15 Arm ... I think you'll find spending a little extra will go a long way.

 

Yeah Sovereignty Stemline, I think many will agree a piece that will get the job done. You should also look into Glassmansdoll (GMD) and EFS Glassworks, both are individual glassblowers that do some great work ... you can find videos and info about them on these boards.

You've got a decent amount of options for ~300, if you find a specific piece you like, definitely post it up and people can throw in their opinions etc. Smoke Happy

 

If you've got a good LHS around you, definitely check it out. Always nice to haggle a bit, and see the glass in person. But of course if you can't find what you want in the store, you can buy online with confidence ... There are many online shops listed in various threads that have quality glass and great shipping / customer service ... In the end it just depends what specifically you are looking for.

 

When you buy a ROOR you are paying for the name, not worth the money in my opinion. You can spend your money on something with better diffusion or spend less money and get the same results as a ROOR (since they are straight shooters). I haven't read too much about Helix so perhaps someone else can chime in about those, but they look pretty damn cool / the design is interesting.

But definitely look past ROORs, you can get a better bang for your buck.

*EDIT: If you like the concept of Helix, check out Hitman glass ... They have a turbine design that you might like.

 

Roor sucks, old and outdated. The stemline or LW bub are the best high end glass pieces for price, you can't any better than those. Solid clean glass.

 

Its decent, pretty much anything from alt is badass.

 

Yeah anything on ALT is going to be good stuff ... I totally forgot to recommend 2010BC, mainly because the only thing ALT had listed a few days ago was in the 500+ range ... They definitely make some nice glass as well.

 

Given ALT's options and 350$, I would definitely choose this: Soveriegnty Glass - 60 mm Natty Stemline w/ UP Grid

I was going to suggest either the king stemline or 50x5 stemline, but they sold since I last checked :/

I haven't personally hit one, but that 2010bc second chamber perc looks draggy.

 

I really hate to say it, I probably will end up sounds biased or like I am just saying what pretty much everyone else says, but the King Stemline absolutely crushes every single of those other pieces in value IMHO.

Although, there isn't any work on the King Stemline, just the labels. But when I bought my King that was exactly what I wanted.

Edit: For example, my other bong is a Quality bong w/ a 4 arm perc. I used to have an Alex K showerhead downstem for it but it broke.

The King destroys it.
