Best month to start a crop in south east US?

    When is the best time to plant a crop from seedlings so they will be fully mature when harvested?

    4/20 waht do you think, for NE florida at least i know thats the case because my friend has but temps and climates vary dramatically. Im still in the considering state on when to do it.
