For myself, the oils are easiest and the cheapest, as you can always grow your own rosemary, lavender and peppermint. The pepper idea does sound nice, as a back up imo. For me these oils are all I've needed to win the war against mites.
Yea but the peppers are just as easy if not easier to make than oils and i can pick up the peppers any time im at the store
I have had good luck with using neem seed meal in my soil makeup. I had mites my last two grows. I went organic this time (and aint going back) with neem seed meal in there and no mites at all. I am growing perpetually now and have three other plants growing now with no bugs at all, except worms and rollie pollies. Not sure how they stay alive after being indoors for 6+ months but they do.
