Best Method Of Making Bud Hash/Oil?

Discussion in 'Harvesting and Processing Marijuana' started by MarquisGemini, Sep 8, 2012.

  1. I have 70 grams (soon to be 80 or 90) of bottom of the bag, leaf, stem and (mostly) small buds that I couldn't sell.

I have bubble bags, 4 different grades, and I also have isopropyl alcohol.

I was considering washing the bud in isopropyl alcohol for 15-30 seconds, straining it through the bubble bags and at the bottom have a glass tray.

I want to make HIGH QUALLITY hash though and I don't know what method is most pure.

Any help would be appreciated. Please see my other thread about my shake!

  2. A fine-grade water hash is one of the most pure types of hash. Hash oil made from the stuff you're working with and not from another sifted/filtered hash will contain anything in the base material that is soluble in alcohol. If using an aqueous solvent, you'll also get substances that are soluble in water.

The quality of the product that either process yields will mostly depend on the potency of the crystal you're starting with.
