Best Lighting Techniques!?

    Typically I am starting with 24/0 and moving to 12/12 for flowering. Keeping FLO lights 2-5 inches away from top of plants. I use the FLO light for about 3 weeks then switch to a 450W HP Sodium (about 8-14" away from tips) until harvest .
    ANY SUGGESTIONS OR OTHER USEFUL TECHNIQUES????

    put your "flo" by which i assume you mean flouros' right down on them as close as possible other than that your straight

    having ur 450 watt HPS that close to the plants will prolly be too hot for them unless u use a cooltube or just have a fan blowing on the bulb

    yep.yep..... 18'' is about the minimum for my hood which is not aircooled

    Obviously 24/0 to 12/12 works and is proly just fine, but have you thought about slowly adjusting the timings to try to mimic nature more closely? Just something to think about if you havnt, everyone has their own way.

    You will probably end up with hermies! Just stick to 12/12 for flowering
