My best friend is a Cop. He's super cool and laid back. He stopped by the house yesterday while I was on my hammock in the back yard smoking my strawberry juicy jay. I hear the door bell I freaked out, dropped my joint, found my joint, hide my joint and casually opened the door and invited him in. First thing he says "something smells burned" I respond with "yeah I burned the sauce." Crap, he's not stupid! Maybe he doesn't know what weed smells like? You know, if you took a minute to be honest with him from the get go and let him know you smoke weed when you're home and relaxing he most likely wouldn't do anything, unless he happened to pull you over one day and you are carrying. Dude one of the cops in my old town sold bud... he's a regular human just like you and I. He knows that most people smoke pot, it's really no big deal unless you sell.

Next time you dont stink of reefer or the house , Just ask him what are his views on weed You would be very surprised nowadays, If he is in fact a best friend he will be honest with you. They all don't drink the Koolaide
they eat piss shit and sleep just like me and you man. they're not oblivious to everything that goes on. i party with a cop and when he's off duty you can fire one up right beside him and he'll comment how dank it us. some of the old school cops are anti weed still but chances are this persons young n shit meaning the cop is young. just making assumptions here but that's my experience

There is a fairly overwhelming amount of cops who honestly find the marijuana situation ridiculous and have for many years. He is your friend. You are not a dealer right? Your own consumption and in your own house is nothing to worry about. But don't throw out an inane line like you did. They would much prefer honesty.
