best conditions for newly germinted seeds??

    i have a 400W HPS light but i kind of think its too powerful for newly sprouted seeds... should i just use flouros for the first week??

    Fluros would defintly be easier on them, but it depends on what type of fluros, how many, and how much space/ventilation you have to help you decide.
    HPS would obviously be more powerful, but you have to be able to make sure you dont burn the babies with that high power light if you decide to use it.

    I have a 400 watt hps/MH switchable on mine and they just sprouted about 4 days ago. I have kept the 400 watt light about 24 inches above the plants and have plenty of good air circulation. In addition, the humiddity and temps should remain around 50 and 80 respectively

    if ya got the floros use them for the first week.
