  1. so true, when i saw them they fucking amazed me...def one of the best shows ive ever seen and honestly thats saying a lot,..i see about 10-15 concerts a year as a patron and like 30-50 as an employee

  2. Phish at Toyota Park this year and Roger Waters last month. 2 greatest concerts I've ever been to.

  3. I saw RATATAT and Gorillaz back to back two weeks ago, definitely awesome shows.

But nothing will top Roger Waters...

  4. Ozzy 1981 in New Haven CT (was only 10, my big bro took me.. it was pretty sick!)

  5. Phish Toyota park was sick. Best concert Ive ever been to.

  6. Arcade Fire last month. I cannot even describe how awesome it was.

  7. Extreme Steel Tour 2001 with Pantera and Slayer. :metal:

  8. The two best concerts I have been to were an ISIS concert when they were touring "In The Absence of Truth". They played quite a few songs from Panopticon and Oceanic which are my two preferred albums... holy shit, when they played "In Fiction" I was actually getting intense rushes... It was also the first concert that I managed to smoke weed at.

The other concert was Lightning Bolt.. a lot different from any other concert experience as the band like to play in the crowd. Knowing it would be a waste of time standing anywhere else, I positioned myself right next to the drummer... and for the next hour fought with all my strength to not be thrown into his kit by the surging crowd.

  9. Nine inch nails
    Tool
    Bouncing souls / Tim Barry
    Down

  10. Twiztid and Potluck @ sonar in Baltimore. One kick ass show

  11. Ozzfest 1998

    Main Stage-

Ozzy, Tool, Megadeath, Limp Bizkit, Soulfly. Sevendust, Coal Chamber

    Second Stage-

Motorhead, System of a down, melvins, Incubus, Snot, Sltraspank, Life of Agony, Kilgore, Monster Voodoo Machine.

Really cool concert. Had a good mix of older Biker's there to see Ozzy and Megadeath and the younger hardcore fans for the rest of the bands. Made for some interesting pits!

  12. Just saw Incubus again at Smokeout last night...best set out of the whole festival.

  13. Incubus is awesome live, I've seen them twice, but first time I saw them was on Ozzfest 2000 and except for Pitchshifter and Queens of the Stone Age, they were the least heavy band on the main stage, but they put on the 2nd best set after Pantera, no joke, they killed it that day.

  14. So hard to say:

    Pink Floyd Pulse Tour 1994
    The Who 1994
    Eric Clapton 1992
    Rolling Stones Voodoo Lounge

  15. Lydia farewell show. Hands down.

  16. tie between

The mars volta, Converge and Faith no More.
all intense as shit in there own way.

  17. That first set blew my fucking mind man

  18. Were you Paige side? Paige side is rage side. Divided Sky was numbing. :hello:

  19. Ultra was amazing, but that's a festival.

My two favorite concerts have actually happened within the last 10 days. Last weekend I flew to NY and saw Gorillaz' "Escape to Plastic Beach" concert, and it was simply outstanding. Our seats were great and the setlist was huge. The other concert is the Infected Mushroom show two nights ago. They played some of my favorite songs and I got right to the front of the crowd and fist bumped the front man.

Right now I'm anticipating MGMT in just 8 days, so I'm hoping that will make the list after I go.

  20. In 1995 I saw rage against the machine in a relatively small venue. Same year I saw radiohead open for rem. Then the same year I saw the grateful dead. I used to just go to anything I could get a ticket for.
