Best/cheapest place to buy a guitar?

  1. I'm looking at the Washburn WD10SCE, its $300 on musicians friend, amazon, guitar center and everywhere else I've looked. It's the best guitar for my budget. I'm assuming I won't find it anywhere cheaper than $300 but are there any places that might have it for cheaper?

  2. Musicians Friend/Guitar Center usually has the cheapest prices youll find at a retail shop. Check craigslist or ebay for a cheaper price

  3. Getting a guitar is not something you want to go cheap about.

True, but you can find some killer deals on Craigslist from parents who bought their kid a guitar that never ends up getting played.

Probably wouldn't find that specific guitar on there though...

OP, before you pick a store, Google the store name + coupon. For instance a quick search for Guitar Center coupons brought up a code for 15% off a single item of $299+, 10% off an item $99+.
