I have been studying about Iranian and Afghani autos. These are landrace strains that have evolved into some of thee best smoke in the world.
No sir I don't. Most of what I have learned though has been from these forums. All I do is Google "Iranian Autoflower" or "Afghani Autoflower" and you'd be surprised at the wealth of knowledge that is out there. Definitely going with those 2. Would love to breed a male/female of each and call it like "Middle East OG Kush" or something
Well this is all looking rather good, but my only problem is, the growing season here is fucked, we have 3 months of good growing season and we have a knack for getting freak frosts in august, sometimes even snow...so if anyone knows of a strain that is finished in 2 months let me know, cuz that would be perfect.
no no, "iranian autoflower" is not a true auto. it just finishes early due to having a little ruderalis in the genetics. I have experience in autos, have grown and smoked a good variety in the past 2 years. I will keep that in mind due to the fact that you are 100% correct the Ruderalis inheritance. Dinafem claims the new breed of Iranian has been bred with that in mind and supposed to be a new plant altogther. I'm excited but I'll have to see for myself. Thanks for the heads up
depends on the strain. usually the seedbanks will give you a rough estimate. smaller phenos tend to be 10-20 grams dry the larger autos can yield up 1-2 oz if you do it justice. I grow with simple and organic techniques, often i yield about 1oz per auto. Oh awesome, that would make sense with the craze over autos now. Iranian has been around for a minute but since all these new autos i understand why they would rework it. Dina fem boasts the "best auto right" now... "Haze Automatic" Dinafem Seeds Haze Automatic It made it into top 10 strains of high times, but i personally haven't grown it yet so i can't say from my perspective. Correct, Iranians arent TRUE autoflowers, But they do finish within 90 days outdoors.. I grown some indoors but I did of course have to flip the lights to 12/12.
