Best "affordable" plug in vape?

Discussion in 'Vaporizers' started by Carotene, Sep 15, 2012.

  1. I'm looking to buy an affordable (roughly $200 or less) plug in vaporizer. I want to be able to sit inside my apartment smoking all day long out of it, and I know the portable/battery powered units aren't going to be able to do that.

I don't really like smoking and I want to get a vape, but I have no idea which to get.

So, what do you guys think? Thank you. :D

  2. I'm getting an extrem q it can do bag and whip and its only 142 on gotvape

  3. Vapor Brothers has served me super well for 3.5 years and counting I reccomend them to everybody. vaporwarehouse.com carrys them and they have awesome warrantys.

  4. Awesome, thank you guys for the quick replies. I'm definitely looking into both of them.

  5. I don't mean to sound like a dick but the extreme q is a much better vape then the vb

  6. SSV. You wont ever look back or regret it

  7. I owned both for a while and I still used the VB way more. I recently sold it because it didnt seem to have the quality the VB has. To each his own though.

  8. Da Buddha

  9. I think I'll be going with the extreme q. Thanks a lot for the replies guys.

  10. Check out Da Buddha before buying the extreme q

  11. I checked it out, yeah. That was actually the main vape I had in my head from readings a couple months ago.

I do have one question though. I want a vape that I can sit around for a good 5+ hours and just take drags. I'm actually pretty sick (I have a green card, and smoking is simply too painful for me) and want something that I can use and just relax for a couple hours reading a book.

From what I read, it seemed like the EQV is better than the DBV for that. I've only been smoking since December, but I've literally smoked every single day. I'm not sure what my tolerance is like, but I'd definitely like a vape that can get me good and high and not have to wait forever for batteries or something to charge.

  13. That looks pretty dang awesome. How much does something like that cost? Maybe that's something I could get for my Dad's place. More discreet. I definitely want something that I can plug in though.

I'll probably get a MFLB for the portability later on though.

  14. your looking at around $200 for one these with a stem. go on "fuckcombustion" look The HI, The Underdog, or Wychwood.

you can also attach to bong and milk the shit out of it too :)

  15. Log Vapes look nice.. the thing i didn't find too fond about them is how long they can take to warm up.. 30-60min??

I own an EQ and love it.. you won't be disappointed

  16. i didn't like the long heat up times either, but these newer log vapes only take 5 mins to heat up and you can leave it on 24/7 too. also with no moving parts makes it pretty durable too.

just giving the OP a few more options. he seems to vape alot and often, so having a log on 24/7 came to mind.

i owned an EQ too and think its a great vape. but dealing with the bags and whips, cleaning them, buying new one, breaking elbows and all that just became a hassle for me.

  17. Think you could post a link to the log vape you got?

  18. Thanks for the quick reply. I'll look into the Underdog.

Two last questions. What's it like taking a hit from it? Are they as efficient as the EQ?

  19. well on mine the airflow is much more free flowing then the EQ. i also like the taste better since it doesn't go through tubing or a bag. they are both efficient, but i gave the edge to the log since it can handle small bowls better.

i didn't expect to be a log fan, but after getting one it totally blew me away.
