Can you guys recommend a good fan for a 6" duct? What do you think about this one?? FanTech FG6XL 6" In Line Ventilator Fan I wonder about the noise though.....anybody know their stuff as far as blowers go? I could use some suggestions on carbon filters too. also what about this one....lower cfm but could it somehow be better for a grow tent setup?? I have the soler and Palau fan, the noise level is very low. I have no other experience with other fans but am happy with the one I have. I would recommend it. As for a filter, I would check out the DIY section for the carbon filter compendium. Much cheaper and rewarding to build your own. Plus a DIY filter can easily be refilled unlike many of the filters you can purchase. The Soler and Palau fan pulls plenty strong for my DIY filter that is about 18 inches long with 1" of carbon all the way around. It does not bog down at all and keeps my cab with a 400 watt HPS plenty cool.
