So here is what I gather. Sounds like a shady land deal which raises the possibility of who would benefit from the college failure. The loan in question may have falsley claimed donor commitments on bank papers for the loan in excess of a million $. Burlington college and the land deals of public lands (Orphanage which was shuttered) and the land later was sold to a developer and ultimately privatized it when the school went belly up. Either way....Prime real estate in Burlington if not the best piece entirely.
..if..IF.. the law was violated, then punish them...breaking the law and committing treason are not things to be ignored just because the crime is committed by a political party you favor. So, party loyalty over country loyalty is bad, good thing some people understand that..SO let's ponder, if Sander's used his office influence for that real estate deal, that cost the tax payers nothing, and we agree that he should be punished if found guilty in a court of law..then what do we do about the tRumpster and his POTUS title being used to further his personal international wealth and company profits, at the tax payers expense, on a daily basis??? yayaya..I know, I am wasting my time making an intelligent point...there is a shiney thing for the populist cult to look at...

I can't believe it! Especially not from Bernie "Sellout" Sanders. Where did the money for all this extravagance come from for a guy who supposedly condemns the rich in favor of the poor? Could it be from all the nickle and dime contributions he got from all his broke-ass, gimme gimme gimme followers on a promise to make it worth their while in the long run while using those donations to pay his wife outrageous amounts of money to run PR for him? Just imagine how many poor people who have donated to him over his long ass political career are still poor and how much money that has been stolen, not only from his supporters but also those who oppose him, has been paid to him by the state for his position. They would have been better off donating that money to a dog shelter or giving it to some hobo down the road.. Mind you, I doubt many bernie bros even give to charity.. there's a lot of things you can do to better your community without having to rely on politicians.
That's the big lie politicians, especially those like Sanders, want to sell you. That any and all problems in society can and should be solved using the state. I think the opposite, that government intervention should be the last resort to use when you have exhausted all other options. Sanders is just a hack anyway, he's using the oldest political strategy in the book, which is buying voters with their own money, or rather, mostly their neighbors' money.
