thanks for all help out there especially you klutter! Went to check on all my big babies, and was trying to figure out how i could get more out of my plants. upon getting rid of some bottom dead foliage i found some very small club looking things growing on a couple of lower nodes (very small), looked at one of the other big ones and saw some small white little hairs in place of the balls on the other one and realized.... i am looking at pistols on females and pollen sacks on the one male, turned out that i only have one male and 2 females. went to get a magnifying glass and i was right. i immediately removed and distroyed the male, and then spent some time bending the branches down on both of the females in order to get more from them. both of my females are doing very well and the babies are starting to really thrive. maybe this will buy more time in order for the babies to somewhat catch up in size allthough i know they wont fully catch up..... do have one question though.... after having seen the preflowering on my big females, does this mean they need to flower or can i continue as long as i want in veg. i certainly dont want to mess up my big ones, they will be my first ever and i refuse to purchase any more, i want to reap my own rewards for all the time and hard work.................. will tryto get the pics up in the mornig, camera dead. you can veg a plant forever if you wanted. It will stay in the veg growth until the light gets changed over to 12/12. Just expect them to double in size when flowering.
shit, that is gonna cause them to drown all 4 of the babies completely out. and their just starting to take off in veg. Any ideas?
You can always flower the big girls first, and then flower the babies once they've grown to a nice size. What is your lighting setup? Do they all have to flower at the same time?
my lighting set up is a 400 watt hps, thinking that may be a great idea, only my situation with time and the way i would have to this, is a little on the difficult side, and dont know if it could even be done this way but here goes............... i would have cover the girls for the 12 off time, but what to use? Thought about doubling up black trash bags for no light AT ALL during the 12, but not sure if i want the bags laying on the girls or not, just not sure if that is a good idea, they are eventually gonna get sticky which would make things difficult not to mention when they really start to double in their size, i would have to make bigger bags every week, or i would have to build a box type cover to put over them, that i could expand over time. What do you think, anyone?
