so I'm looking to grow my own supply of 7 grams a week atleast. I've been reading a lot about different lighting methods and I have a few questions. 1) If I use Cfls, I would be using 100w bulbs and a few of them ( 2-10 ) would this work well enough if I were to just grow for MYSELF? and compare a grow say with a couple 100w CFL to a 250w HPS. how would the yield and grow times differ? EDIT: I'm trying to grow for myself ( 1 person with a pretty low tolerance ) that's why I'm looking into CFL, i dont need a 1000w hps
hid is the way to go, but i'd go with a t-5 if i couldn't use hid. forget the cfl's. they work, but t-5's are better.
If you do go hps make sure its compatible with mh so you can use MH during veg and HPS during flowering
100w equivalent or actual wattage cfls? 100w equiv = 26w actuals 2 26w actuals do not equal a 250w hps, not even close maybe 10 26w actuals
