Hello I am new at this and was wondering if I had enough light for 1 plant...I am using two 4' flourecents that total in about 3100 lumens. Also would this be enough for maybe one or two more? Thank you
You want between 1k-3k lumens per square foot of plant. That is more than enough for one yeah, 1 or 2 more should be okay under that but keep them close they put out zero heat. Anymore than 3 i'd say get more lights just to be sure
Thank you very much i dont think that I am going to have any more than three for now. Also I have a pic of the one that is going and i was wondering is this plant healthy and looking like it should at a little over a month? How do I add a pic from my pictures on my desktop?

i have vegged with 4 floot floros and had great results, IMO they veg fine if you have about 2-4 per plant, but youll definatly want to flower with HID if possible, i know how it is when funds are low.
I have no way of getting new lights at this point Will the plant still flower under these conditions or am I just waisting my time?
they sell 4ft tubes at walmart lowes and homedepot that are 3000k and 100 to 3400 lumes a tube for 7 bucks for flower buy a 2 pack of them thare kitchen and bath bulbs. im useing 3 4ft shop lights all above 4 plants to flower now and have 2 more in a nother room going the 6 bulbs in the shop lights are puting out 18000 to 20000 lumes and i have bud sights every ware
I think using a couple of 4' fluoros for one plant is not enough light. Remember that the lumens output is besed on the entire bulb, and only a portion of the bulb's 4 foot length is going to be close to your plant. Very little of the light output from other areas of the the bulb will be helful to your plant. Use those tubes and get some CFLs as well -- you could get a pack of daylight CFLs at Wally World along with a couple of sockets and wiring for $10-15.
