hey so its my first time trying to grow a plant. I had seeds in my bud and I did the paper towel method, within 2 days the roots were white n long I planted it in a cup with holes in the bottom for water drainage. I water only when the top layer gets dry ( 1-2 times a day) then at night I put in a dark place. every time I check on it, it is longer . The stem is getting so long I don't want it to give in and wilt over should I add more soil to the cup so it covers the long stem more ? or use something to hold it up/support it? I have no major grow lights but I use 86 lumens florescent and have been keeping it 4-5 inches above it idk if im doing it right I know 84 is not a lot but its just for now since its tiny. any tips fellow growers/potheads?
I water plants that size once every two days maybe. I agree with the poster above. They stretch towards a light source.
More light ad less water. Stick your finger in the soil if it is dry 1inch under than it needs water if its moist then dont water.
Well I hope u mean watt not lumen if so get another one of those.. an extra small fan and watch temperature water thoroughly to where a little drains out bottom but shouldn't water more than once a day and try to get it to every other day and your going to need some type of nutrient supplement
