So i planted my germinating seeds about close to 2 weeks ago, and a small seedling is noticeable, why is it growing so slow?

I water it 1-2 times per day depending on the dryness of the top layer, and i spray just little. For the past 2 weeks i gave direct sunlight for at least 5-6 hours per day. Now i have a 60 watt lamp for light for the seedling. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

  2. mmm what's wrong.

You are OVER WATERING a seedling
    5-6 hours is not enough
And that "60w" lamp is probs a regular light bulb

  3. Oh and that little thing showing....doesn't even look like cannabis.....its almost like a weed
..and not the kind you smoke

  4. I wish I had an answer for you, but I can't see anything besides dirt. Usually most of us allow the seed to germinate by placing it in damp layers of paper towel. That only takes a day or two for a 1/8 inch long tap root to start showing. Then plant it in moist dirt about 1/2 inch down. Within 2 or 3 days after that it should pop up out of the dirt and then you put it on a 18/6 cycle.

  5. 2 weeks ago??? how deep did you plant it, lol??? watering 1-2 times a day?? you water when your medium dries up. keeping the medium soaked will keep air out, and could slow things down. what's the temp. of the room? a really cold medium, coupled with soaking it could add to the slow growth. stop spraying it, you're adding to the wetness of your medium. really no need for light until the seed sprouts and breaks the surface.

  6. I noticed that also. These things are a weed for a reason. They can survive without water for a good week at least when they are this young. Just no need to water them that much. Sometimes the LITFA term works quite well when growing.

  7. Unless you planted those things really deep then there probably dead. Should of popped in 2-3 days if you planted then about 1/4 a inch deep.

  8. what they said... 60w is not enough 5-6 hours a day is not enough and you are seriously over watered you should have watered just enough to moisten the soil than let it completely dry out before re watering maybe 1-2 days before the next watering.. those seeds are rotted out and dead by now dude you really should have read more before jumping into growing and wasting those seeds mate
