  1. Hey All, I need some help with growing my first ladies. They've been growing for about a two weeks and one of them has risen to be 4 inches tall. Problem here is that she has fallen over, I tied her up to a stick to help upright her but i'm still worried that something may be wrong. I'm using a 250w bulb and the soil is Moisture Control soil made with Miracle Grow. Yea Yea I know, Miracle Grow sucks ass but it wasn't my choice. Oh and how often should I be watering my children in their early growth stages? I do it by when the soil is dry, but lately that seems like every other day and I'm not sure if that is right. Please someone clue me in here!

  2. Hey dude,, if you have an empty container that is the same as the ones that you have your seedlings in.. Fill it with your dry medium (soil) and pick it up.... notice the wieght...... now pic up one of your seedlings..... is it the same wieght?.....heavier?....

This is how I water each plant if it is light I pic it up and slowly pour in some water/nutes.. I wait til I see a drop of water drip out the bottom of the pot,, then I'm done.. I check them daily some require more water than others..

by the way you shouldn't give nutes to your babies until there 3-4 nodes or a month old.

what kind of bulb are you using???

    Good luck man

  3. Measuring the water worked quite well, even better when I use my digi to log the amount of water going into each plant.

Plus it allows me to estimate the weight of my plant before I water it.

And you spoke of using the nutes too early, this I completely agree with but it came along with the soil and is out of my control at this point.

I hate that though because I feel that I should be in full control of my plant. And I'm incredibly doubtful of Miracle Grow, doesn't that burn the plant and screw around with the yield of the plant?

  4. Another question from the Noob All-Star. The temperature of my room is at 83.7 degrees. What is the optimal grow temperature for these plants? And how can I drop the temp? I am using one fan currently inside my closet. Area is roughly 3 x 2 1/2 ft. 4 shelfs, 2 of them are being used by plants.

If anyone has any ideas I would be most appreciative. Thanks all in advance for your help!
