Beer

  1. Does anyone else have an appreciation for beer? I enjoy at least a few pints of beer a day. I also brew, I am currently drinking a home made IPA that's pretty decent. I like micro brews the best, things with character. Lager is ok once in a while but ales are my favorite.

Some of my local favorites are:

    St. Bernardus Abt 12
    Full Sail old Boardhead
    Rogue double dead guy ale
    Deschutes The Abyss

  2. yeah iwant to get into experiences the beer itself..

at this point im more into the experience after drinking.

    i should go get drunk:p

  3. When I first turned 21, I constantly had a supply of like 4 different beers, but I dunno, I don't really enjoy it all that much nowadays.

I just hate getting dehydrated from drinking it.

  4. Just don't overdo it.

  5. its so good.

once it hits your lips its so good.

  6. Even one does it to me.

I have to drink a bunch of water before I go to sleep otherwise I wake up feeling all shitty.

  7. i fucking love beer.

    i have no favorite brand.

i drink different beers to accomodate different situations, types of meals, celebrations, whether or not i want to taste a beer or just get drunk, etc.

  8. Nothing like a cheap ass thirty rack for you and your broke ass friends that just spent all our money on weed. Can't beat a 30 rack of PBR for $17.

  9. :hello:
if i had to drink one brand for the rest of my life,

    itd be pab street.

    so cheap, so delicious.

  10. guinness stout for me please.

  11. 4 or 5 beers is perfect. more than that makes me feel shitty the next day. fuck that

  12. I hate being drunk, I like to have my wits about me. But I love nothing better than drinking a few beers and loosening up on the weekend.

Guinness (All I really drink on a regular basis)
Murphy's (delicious, tastes like Guinness but with a chocolate after taste
Stella Artois (the only lager I really drink)
Sam Adams (another pretty good lager)

I just can not drink light beer whatsoever though, or any pilsner.

  13. Pilsners and lagers are the same thing pretty much. Like porter and stout, same thing really.

    Guinness - 5/10

Really dry hence the name dry Irish stout. This isn't my favorite beer. It's expensive, low in alcohol and has a sour aftertaste due to the sour mash process Guinness and others such as Murphy's and Beamish like to use. Would never buy again, ever.

    Lost Coast 8ball stout - 9/10

A good oatmeal stout with 5.2% abv, not bad. Really sweet with mild black coffee, brown sugar and toffee notes. A really superb beer if you can shell out the couple extra bucks.

  14. I love beer so fuckin much. My favorite medium-priced beer would probably have to be Shiner Bock...for a more expensive brew, I like a lot of Shiner's seasonals and Blue Moon. If you live in Texas you've gotta love Shiner.

If I'm broke as shit because I just spent all my money on dank, I'll throw back some 'stones too haha. They don't get me drunk though, I've gotta tear through about 20 of those fuckers before I feel good.

  15. I love to sit back, sip a 40 while smoking a blunt.

  16. The champagne of Beers, Miller High Life:hello:

  17. I get pissed off every time I think about the beer industry. Their commercials working their way inside our living rooms and being completely accepted as normal and even cute and funny during such primetime events as the superbowl. Fucking hypocritical nonsense that we endorse one harmful substance and completely outlaw and criminalize another harmless one.

But aside from that fact I do enjoy beer. I'm looking forward to turning 21 and being able to check out these microbreweries I hear so much about. Not only that, but if I ever hit up Bonnaroo again I'll be able to check out the brooer's tent and all the exotic tasting alcohol they offer.

    Some of my favorite beers:
Busch (If I'm going cheap and going for a case)
Bud Light (Say what you want it tastes damn good to me)
Yuengling (Strong, tasty, very respected in many circles)
Miller High Life (THE beer to get if you're drinking on 40 Oz's)

  18. my choice of beer depends on the situation.

If it's going for drinking games and is going to be drunk fast and not really appreciated I go for the cheap beer. Bud Light is one of my favorites.

I like all sorts of different beers if I'm going to be sipping it and enjoying it. Nothing out of a can. Newcastle is good, Magic Hat #9 is good and the bottle caps make it that much more fun, Sam Adams is always a good choice.

I can't wait until I'm 21 and can walk into a liquor store and pick out new things to try and stuff. I still have a little over 2 years until that can happen though.

  19. I love me a 40 of Olde English any day.

  20. My Favorite is Samichlaus;
One of the rarest beers in the world, brewed only once a year on December 6th, subsequently fermented and matured for about 10 months before bottling in October. Thus Samichlaus is a vintage beer and with around 14 % of alcohol by volume the strongest bottom-fermented lager in the world
