yo gc, so i pretty much play BP every weekend and it is one of the greatest games ever. its up there with monopoly and trouble in my all time greatest games lol. but anyway, anyone have any stories or some amazing shots? id like to see how you guys play too. me and my friends usually play 6 cups cause theres always alot of people trying to get on and we usually play winner stays.
I love playing Beurit too . In all seriousness it's just way too much fun to play. Sinking those clutch shots when you know your motor skills are well beynd impaired is so much fun.
ok let me share a story we have this rule, if the ball bounces back your side after you shoot it, you can shoot again, but behind you back. you wrap your arm behind your back and just flip your hand. its hard as hell to make but it happens sometimes. by the way we also play redemption shot, which is after your last cup is made, the two losers both have 1 more chance to shoot, and if they make it, they keep going till they miss. or if they make the last cup, then they replay the game with 3 cups on each side. so anyways, we were playing 21 cup. it came down to my team having 1 cup left, and the other side having 4 cups left. they sank the last cup, my partner hit one redemption then missed. I made 2 redemption shots then missed my last one. it rolled back to my side, so I shot again behind my back and made it. it was incredible. then the 3 cup replay we hit 3 in a row and ended it.
Most amazing shot I've ever hit was nothing special The rules vary from region to region, but usually if you sink the ball in someone's drinking cup, your team automatically wins So we're playing one night and my buddy is holding his drinking cup about chest-high, and he's trying to psyche me out. I just swooshed it into his cup and a roar went up through the crowd.
Haha always good to see some kindred spirits, I'm an IU student and beer pong is pretty much the unnofficial official sport of this school. I'm gonna get my camera from my roommate when he comes home and show you guys my table, we put together a pretty badass one, lights up and everything.
beer pong is a great game...but beirut is the fucking tits. nothing like a 15 cup game of beirut. by the end of game 2 you drunk. by the end of game 3 your shitfaced. EDIT: I think beirut should be an olympic game...hell yea
we call it a "satellite" cup and if you make it, its game over. i go into sniper mode and eye the shit outta peoples cups. One night i got 2, on the same team that called a rematch cause i made a satellite. This is my best shot ever, my friend and i lost, they made em all and we had 4 left to make, so my friend shoots his rebuttle and misses, games on me. they are standing there, with the "we just won" looks, both of em are covering thir cups and holdin em down by their hips. i look and theres just enough room, so i go for it, it sticks between the lip of the cup and between his thumb and index finger, and drops in his cup. the looks were priceless and we all still call him satellite a year later, just because of that shot, and the slu of satellites that followed! ha my favorite it playing against my friends parents, cause they cheat and stuff and they have sooo much fun winning!
we play the bounce back rule too but it has to be on the table and a behind the back shot. ITS NOT FUCKING BERIUT lol last night was crazy, we played tournament style and it was the championship and my team and the other team had 1 cup left each. they sunk our cup on their turn and since we got a redemption shot i sunk the shit out of there one cup. then i bounced that shit in OT and my partner hit their last cup and we got the W.
hahah theres nothing like seeing the completely TANKED kid have to finish all the beers left after you sink the final shot...haha, what a great game, who doesnt love/play beer pong?
Beer Pong is pretty much amazing, and I love playing it. Me and my friends don't have a bounce-back rule, and unless we have a lot of beer we don't play that if u both make the last cup(s) it goes back to 3 cuz we'd rather just play more games as a whole. But my best shot was probably when me and my friend were playing my friend's dad and his dad's girlfriend and they were stompin us. Keep in mind that my friend's dad has this eye condition and he's pretty much half blind. But anyway, his dad sinks our last cup and they still have 3. Playing that we each get to shoot until we miss, my friend shoots first and misses. I sink my first, they give me the ball back I do it again, one more shot and i sink the shit. We keep going 1 cup each cuz we both had made the last cups and we ended up winning (i think my friend hit their cup and they couldn't hit ours back. Not that amazing, but a great ego booster for myself
i dont really have any one... amazing, memorable shot, but ive had some amazing team efforts. you ever have you and your teammate shoot at the same time? one bounces, the other shoots normally? .... ive made a handful of those, couple bounce ins, a couple of swishes, one time, we did it twice in a row...... so 6 cups with 4 shots, thats pretty much my best.
one of our favorite twists to the game is to add a little whiskey in each glass...then we usually have girls playing strip pong..
similar rules as everyone else...i especially like the "make it in the drinking cup=game over" rule...im known around our parties to hit those. our current reign of domination stands at 21-3. i think 5 of those were shots that i mentioned above.
depending on if we have a keg or not sometimes we play "Blackout or Lebanon" 100cups, teams of 2, four shots per team.
A rule we play is if you sink it in the cup in their hands its game over. That being said me and my buddy found ourselves needing 4 cups in a row to tie. He missed and as the two losers are laughing i plunked it right in his cup. I don't even remember if we won but i sure rememeber that shot.
I've never gotten the chance to play beer pong... Sucks, I know... I have played Kings a few times (also known as waterfalls in some areas)... Fun shit... Wish I coulda played some beer pong before I found out drinkin could kill me, LMAO!
