Been a while..but some GMO just starting out.

  1. Sounds like you've got your operation dialed in. I've played around with different methods and lighting and settled on the 315w CMH fixtures over 50 gallon No Till Beds. I raise my own worms and feed them organic fertilizers along with compost and coffee grounds.

I top dress the plants with the vermicompost and malted barley flour throughout the cycle, water it in with an aloe vera juice/saponin/water mixture and basically that's it.

I started in dirt in the early 2000's, went to DWC for a few years and converted to organics in 2009. I mainly grow for personal to help with my wife's MS. We live in a recreational MJ state, but can't buy anything the quality of what we can grow ourselves.

  3. Nothing too special..flipped second room.
Total of 15 in it, not sure ratio but a mix of Green Poison and White Fire. Running 3 hps 1000s on those.
Gave them a dose of food along with the other 10. Almost 4 weeks since flip on the other room of 10.

  5. Been a strange week or two.. after the stretch finished and buds started to form, it seems I've ran into a slow stage..
Haven't seen much happening as of late as far as buds growing, but the trichomes are piling up.
Being I'm accustom to short flower times, 55-65 day flowers, maybe this slowness is just the fact that these are 75-85 day flower..

Anyways here's a few pics.. staying green and healthy, just seem to not be filling in much..then again I look every day so maybe that's part of it lol

  6. Had to do some staking to prepare for future droop..so figured since I was moving them around, id sweep and change plants position a bit.

  7. So..I'll give an update.

I got second room into flower a couple weeks ago.. genetics don't seem to be as good as I'd like, and they sure like to eat a lot..but they are coming along. They had started slow in veg, too busy to care for them, and then struggled to get aquatinted with the feeding.
I almost didn't even send em to flower, but they picked up some growth last few days of veg and have done well in flower.

  8. I am going to put this out here cause I know not everyone has the same rooms or methods, but I'm a firm believer in the less is more theory.
Continually reading posts here of new growers and wanting to know what's going wrong in first few days even weeks..
I'm gonna say that you're doing too much.
The more knowledgeable guys chime in with needing to know everything that has been done, or every piece of equipment.
You can see a plant is over fed or even over watered, the brand of light or their elevation above sea level doesn't matter.

In the theory of less is more..I have been doing this indoor thing steadily in same space for over 10 years.
Dabbled indoors before then but not with the equipment or scale I run now.
I have had 1 ph tester in my time and I have only used it a couple times and I was running hydro. I've never owned a ppm tester. Currently have all 3 rooms running and I don't have a single thermometer or hydrometer in either room. Doesn't take much to feel if a room is too warm or too cold. Cloning I don't use domes, I don't have direct light on clones and besides some root gel, i do nothing but cut with a clean knife and forget about clones for at least a week. They sit and do their thing.

Just in short, it doesn't take much to care for and grow these plants we have.
Currently I have a 1 hour window into my second flower box. I get 1 hour a day to get in, water/feed, check them over, and do some clean up. After that, it's 23 hours before I can see em again.

  9. Ok, garlic cookies have about 35-40 days left on suggested flower and I'm guessing it's pretty close to what I'll need for them to finish
Flipped to 12-12 about 45 days ago.

  11. This is second room since I don't give it much love..managed to get in for 3 minutes before lights came on..

15 plants..mix of white fire and green poison..
The poison is the one further along..one group of 5 is all poison,
    other two groups are mixed..

  12. Took some clones tonight, will cut the rest to fill machine tomorrow..

  13. So here we are..about 55 days into flower with another 20-30 to go on recommended time.

  14. I have been slacking on other room...

I rushed them into flower after doing some training and didn't give them enough time to strengthen up..I'm out of stakes and shits falling over..not to mention they need far more nutes than the other strain I'm doing.
So tomorrow if I can find a roll of chicken wire I'm gonna cage them all, knock off the dead leaves..missed a watering as well as a feeding..and try to get them back on track.

  15. Started to pull clones from cloner today..got 16 of 60 planted. These 60 will all be outside in 4-6 weeks.
Picked up new pots but forgot trays..a run to dollar store for some turkey pans will hold me over..
This is veg room, I gotta hang t5s back up..had em down since I wasn't using room much after the new paint on walls.
So forgive the mess of veg room, but this is what my veg space is like.
The pocket door you see leads into first flower room.
Best thing I can ever recommend to someone building actual rooms that are connected. Use a pocket door and save the 9 sq ft of space you lose with a swinging door.
