Beeline

Discussion in 'Seasoned Marijuana Users' started by LegitDankz, Feb 13, 2010.

  1. So just picked up some more Beeline, and I wondered is this only placebo effect or can I actually taste a cleaner, less harsh hit? It sure feels that way to me, definitely not as harsh. So to all you beeline users, would you agree?

-I know that the point of it is to be healthier I am just wondering if others can also taste the difference-

  2. Yes, I agree. The hit is cleaner and there's no butane taste.

  3. I've never tried it, I want to though.

    Is it hard to use?

  4. Nope, it's just like a candle wick.

  5. ive used a beeline wick and they suck. they burn a lot harsher then a lighter. and whats the point if you have to use a lighter anyway to get it light? also beeswax is not good to smoke, beeswax holds a lot of sugar, which crystallizes in your lungs when smoked

  6. wait...really? can we get a second opinion on this?

i like beeline. no butane taste.

  7. I doubt this. Beeline has been used by alot of people for a long time...Im sure it wouldve been brought to our attention if this was true. I ordered some but unfortunately it arrived THE VERY DAY i got caught so needless to say my parents took it..I found it a couple months later but didnt feel like using it and now that i want it i cant find it, probly went in the trash...oh well

  8. I've wanted to try Beeline for a while but I can't find any around my area...and I'd feel kinda weird taking it out and using it in front of people.:smoking:

  9. Lol def not a tool used by people who walk around town with a joint or a spoon. Mainly just a better way to smoke when ya chillin at home with a bong or something. You can get a ASSLOAD of beeline off ebay for a couple bucks..I think i got like over a hundred feet for like 5$ shipped.

  10. obviously to not inhale the butane off the lighter flame. How elese would you light it? magic?

  11. long chain hydrocarbons in wax will produce more particulate byproducts than shorter chains such as butane. not to mention the twine (cellulose) which produces carbon monoxide even under complete combustion which butane will not. both will produce CO2, H2O, CO, and C particulates. the wax will also release smaller hydrocarbon chains. the wax will also produce more C particulates under similar oxygen conditions. twine produces more carbon particulates and more hydrocarbon volatiles.

heres a pdf about bagasse disease of the lungs
    http://chestjournal.chestpubs.org/content/52/4/505.full.pdf

"Results showed the presence of a toic material in bagasse, the relative unimportance of the silica fraction, and tissue response of a transient nature, indicating an essentially reversible reaction as seen in the clinical picture."

  12. im certainly not saying lighters are healthier because theres a lot of articles that prove lighters are not healthy but to say that beeline wicks are healthier is not true in entirety.

from my experience with beeline i found it to hit harsher then using a lighter but i have only tried it twice.

  13. well I use it all the time and I think it's great

  14. Hakko for sure.

  15. I've never tried beeline but with my glow rods its such a cleaner taste, not harsh at all. Ever since I started using them, I cant use butane, I hate it.

  16. so what's the healthiest way to smoke?

  17. if im smoking outta of any pipe or bong all i use is beeline

i hate the taste of lighter fluid!

    beeline FTFW!

  18. Yea guys I agree Beeline is the shit. Isn't the twine made out of hemp? I was under the impression it was fully natural, isn't that the point?

I'd love to get some sort soldering iron but I don't feel like spending the money.

anyone else have some sort of soldering iron to spark up?

  19. yeah, Hakko 456 ftw. I haven't touched a bic in ages :bongin:

  20. which is what?
