Becoming a lorry driver

  1. So Guys, I came to a point in my life where I have no idea where my life is actually going. Then I thought. LORRY DRIVER!

I mean why not? Blazing and listening to tunes during long journeys! and who the fuck is going to pull over a lorry? A massive lorry at the side of the motorway/highway would be more of a risk than a 1 stoner on the road. My opinion anyway.
I already have a full uk driving license and am a very safe road user (even better when baked) I was a van driver for about a year and loved it.

    Thoughts guys?

  2. What in the blue fuck is a lorry?

  3. As long as you think you won't get bored. I have a pretty active mind/imagination, so I think I could do it.
Also the word 'lorry' always makes me lol, it's so British

  4. Uk term for truck

  5. A truck haha

  6. Why don't you just become a sanitary maintenance engineer?

  7. I dont think so.. haha

  8. if thats a good job you must be full of shit!

  9. I know you have strict licensing requirements there, do they drug test?

  10. no see i wasn't meant to be taken seriously cause i just used an uncommon term for a garbageman to further add onto the mind-fuckery in a cheap attempt to get some laughs

    :)

  11. it depends on the company, normally.

  12. Ill admit, I did choke on my joint alittle when I googled it haha

  13. yeah, see im thinking of becoming a foreign population reduction specialist..better than a lorry driver, to me it sounds too much like loo, like youre just driving people around while they shit.

  14. when you said sanitary maintenance engineer the first thing that came to mind was the personnel that get to clean out porta-poti's... and like-wise my comment was not to be taken seriously and was a cheap add on for some laughs!

  15. Ive only been on grasscity for 3 days and you guys give me more laughs than my girlfriend ever has in 3 years..

  16. Lolwut

  17. Do you need an engineering degree for this position?

  18. maybe... I opened another tab to google so that I could look this shit up but instead ended up with pictures of furby's so I i'll probably never no

  19. I don't know how they do things in the UK, but here in the US if you're a truck driver you have to pull over at every weigh station along the way no matter where you're going. The weigh stations check you're exact weight to the ounce and if it's off by .1 that sends up a red flag. Depending on the weigh station, they may search the vehicle, run dogs through it, or maybe nothing. There is no getting around it, if you don't stop, police will follow you down the highway and pull you over for not doing you're job. I don't know the specific on any of this, but i do know that its best just to not go through any sortof police checkpoint with anything illegal on you.

Once again, I don't know how they do things in the UK, but if I were you, I wouldn't make a career choice based upon the freedom it grants you to indulge in senseless drug abuse. If you've lost your direction in life then maybe you need to take a bit of time out to find it again. Find whats really important to you and look for something that you truly enjoy doing, something that leaves some sort of impact on the world, something you can be proud of when you're time on this Earth comes to an end. If you really want to keep marijuana in you're life, see no harm or damages to come from continued or escalated use, and honestly can't imagine life without it then maybe you should consider a career in growing. It's really not that difficult and is actually pretty interesting; it may take you some time to get used to the way black market transactions occur but aslong as you keep you're head and aren't too stupid or greedy about things, you should fare alright.

You can do whatever you want, thats just my 2 cents though.
