Ive submitted into becoming one...very excited! was wondering if anyone else on the board was one or wanted to become one.
I listen to metal music while wearing a surgical mask...oh yes that would be cool to be a mason. My grandfather was one. Sucks he died before I was born.
I remembered a real good thread about free masons from awhile ago http://forum.grasscity.com/real-life-stories/480032-tonight-i-ate-pork-chops-free-masons.html
My Dad used to be a Freemason. They have all these books written in code, it's really weird. Somehow my Mom figured out the code (no freaking idea how) and it pissed my Dad off really bad since women and non-Masons aren't supposed to know it. She taught me how to read a little bit out of one of their codebooks, I wish I knew where it was now.
yea its weird for me, i joined the navy right out of high school so ive never done the fraternity kind of thing
Any particular reason for doing this? I am just curious. My grandfather was a Mason before he passed away.
I'm probably going to join later in life. My grandfather worked his way up to a pretty high position so I probably wouldn't have any trouble finding a sponsor.
That made me laugh. The Freemasons are a really old fraternal group. They're known for their intense secrecy and political power (not so much anymore). Name a founding father and chances are he was a Freemason.
idk what it is but lately ive been seeing a lot of the free mason symbols on the back of peoples car, juss normal everyday people cars
No shit well ide join the free masons..if i was guranteed political power. How can one join? Im sure its nothing like the frats in college, does anyone remember all the tools in those college frats...lol
I'm in the Order Of The Eastern Star, I can't join the masons but if I was a guy you damn right I'd be on it, My Dad worked his way up to a Worshipful Master<3 I've grown up around the masons. let me tell you they are really great people if you ever need anything you have help, its an amazing brotherhood. its not all about fraternity and stereotypes don't talk shit you know nothing about. what is a Freemason? A Freemason is a man who, in searching for life’s ineffable questions, finds his way into the company of fellow seekers. Comprised of men from every nation, races, social and economic level, all hold similar ideals and beliefs. A male organization, Freemasons exist in most every country around the world guided by three principals, Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth.
Google. A curious mans best friend! I have a grandfather who was one and a few uncles. I don't get into any of that though. In fact I only recently found out my grandfather was one..when I saw the symbol on his headstone.
