  5. you know when i first posted pics
of these plants as little seedlings

someone told me i would be lucky to get a joint out of them!

    hahahahaahahahahahaah!!!!

  6. hi m8 is that alluminium foil around the vase that you are showing in the picture? if yes why do you have it ? and what's beneficial side of it......

  7. Ave,

They are looking lovely Mr. D.
Keep up the good work, and keep posting, I wanna see these when they start developing! Take care.

Oh and in answer to your question about the foil, it is to reflect light back to the plant, the more light the better, so if you have weak lights its a good idea to have some sort of reflective material around your plants, in this case its foil but if you use it be sure to have the dull side as your reflector. the shiny side will reflect light back in an uneven matter creating hot spots and sometimes burning your plants.

    Stay safe people.
    Ave.

  8. dident know that about the "shinie side"

    but thanks

and i will keep puting up the pics

  9. YES they look good ....
How about the umidity on the soil? is't change by have it co
    ver with foil?

I thought so myself that alluminium foil was some kind of danger as the reflective side will probably burn young leaves
and I guess that mirror is worst.... So what kind of material are people using apart from flat white paint?

  10. Ave.
Yes, foil can burn your plants, this is why you use the dull side, as it wont create hot spots...at least not as many.

Mirrors are not a good reflector as they absorb most of the light and thus are not efficient.

mylar ans white paint are the best.

as far as I know, having foil on the soil doesnt increase humidity, as its not air tight.

    Hope this helps.

    Take care.
