Ok so was buying stuff for my dog today, while I was browsing in the pet store I saw a bearded dragon.never reallly been into reptiles but it looked pretty cool in its tank.
Now before I shell out 300 quid can anyone answer these questions please.

Do they stink you're house out
Which is better gecko or dragon and whats the diffrence
Do you get salmonella from them
What do they do ( as in can you let them out )
Do I need to keep buying bugs for them.
Do they live long/ easy to keep
    Cheers guys

  2. You might get salmonella if you eat it raw

If you clean their tank out once or twice a month not a big stink at all.

    Bearded dragons in my opinion.

You can, risk with any reptile.

I let mine out, he'd chill on my shoulder, swim in his pool ( large ziplock container), and run around the house.

Yes, bugs but they eat veggies and fruit too ( nothing acidic)

    Apples
    Pears
    Carrots
    Celery
    Greens
    Chard
    Spinach
    Romaine
    Sprouts
    Alfalfa

    Bugs
    Mealworms
    Waxworms ( treat)
Crickets dusted in vitamin dust 1x a week
    Pinkies ( baby mice)
    Flys

Had my buddy Chance McStubbs 5 years

  4. Lol

No I heard from someone that said they can pass that shit onto you.
Granted I have never heard of anyone contracting it.
