Beaker Bottom or Straight Tube?

  1. Hey gc, img getting a new bingis tomorrow, I want to get this 5150 double perked bong, but it comes in a beaker bottom and a straight tube.

Im planning on getting an ash catcher for it as well, but I dont know which to get, beaker bottomed or straight tube.

All of my previous bongs have been beaker bottom

  2. Straight tube ftw..

  3. Straight tube! Better clear by far.

  4. I may be different here but LOVE beaker bottoms. I think i like them more because they have the traditional bong shape and look alot better. And i think that they are more balanced because all of the weight is at the bottom and it is spread out more so they are less likely to tip over.

  5. Beaker bottom! I have two of both and always prefer the beakers :hello:

  6. Beakers are more susceptible to breaking but make for a better smoke. It's up too you, I have a straight tube for durability

  7. Hey Man,

I have a 5150 double tree perc straight tube.

Definitely the way to go. I actually looked at both the beaker and the straight.

I had an old 5150 straight tube as well, and fuck that thing was durable.

There's been times during cleaning where I have accidentally hit the bottom glass stand part of the straight tube and it didn't break.

However, if it had been a beaker bottom, I am quite confident I would have been left in tears.

    So.......straight tube FTW

  8. I wanna get a nice ash catcher on it, I just want it to be sturdy, both that I saw were 7mm glass.

  9. straight tube, its better since you should not be tilting a perc'd tube anyway. beakers are only good for the couch and lounging and leaning back.

    trust, go straight

  10. id go beaker, more volume=bigger hits, and more surface mass for cooling. a straight tube has a faster better clear both good id deff go with beaker tho

  11. get a curved tube
